So today I made Ben drive me to Grand Mart to buy one red onion for homemade Chipotle night. As we were driving down Hillwood Ave we came across a road block at Hillwood and Cherry and had to detour. There were around 15 police cars along with a couple of fire trucks and lots of official-looking people standing around. “What is going on?!”. Well apparently there was a man with a gun who locked himself inside some family’s house. Check out the rest of the story from Falls Church News Press. Anyways, after a much-too-long drive to a store that’s two blocks away, we made it to Grand Mart. Unfortunately today my photo is of some interesting fruit and not the police capturing the shooter.
