Worst of all…!

What’s got two thumbs, has seen all the movies but never read the books? ::points to self:: THIS GUY!

I am finally in the process of reading these books after promising friends and families for years that I would do it. Having seen the final movie, now seems as good a time as any to get started. This first one really reads like a kid’s book, but I’m assured that it gets better as the books progress. This was one of my favorite lines from the first movie, and I was pleased to find it was taken from the book! Although, I think Ron’s quip in the movie was better: “She needs to check her priorities!” or whatever he says. I haven’t seen that movie in ages.

Haha, and after you read the books you’ll want to watch the movies again. It’s a vicious cycle!

I’m so glad you’re reading the books! I secretly have something against people who watch movies but don’t read the books…especially series like HP!

the best way to “read” the books is the audios from Jim Dale. He is an amazing reader. It’s how I got hooked. (I was very, “if everyone loves them, how can they be good?) But once I became a children’s librarian, I felt guilty for not having read them. Okay, I’ll try one audio, and the rest is history. Except for Book 7. I don’t do dark dark dark, so I only read the book, not the audios. Am so excited to see more pix from the wedding, thanks for doing such an awesome job!!
