“New” Recordings

Well, several months ago Orange Line went into the studio to record some new tracks. I wrote these with an emphasis on pop-sensibility, but you can hear how we try to make things interesting with tricky time signatures and whatnot.

I’m finally uploading them so my friends can take a listen to them! I happen to like them very much, but it’s unlikely they’ll see any official release, so here you go… on my blog! Download them, listen to them as much as you like! All I ask is, just drop me a note and let me know what you think! Enjoy:

    Sounds fantastic! And as a chick who swoons for songs about chicks- Grace is a beautiful song.
    I’m honored to have been able to watch your musical abilities grow and expand over the past 8 years- from listening to your old 7 Past 6 stuff, writing songs with you in Taiwan (Unseen, anyone?), LOTC, F2G, Judo Chop, Orange Line… all of it has just gotten better and better.
    In summation- good songs, good sound- reminds me of the Chase This Light album by Jimmy Eat World… I LIKE!

    Hey man, good stuff! I really like the vocal background in the chorus of “Grace.” It’s got a little 90’s feel. Hope everything is going well with you and we should catch up sometime when I’m home.
